The purpose of the activities is to develop technologies and methods so that the sawmill and wood industry can produce and refine their products in a cost effective manner.In all wood mechanical industrial raw materials represent the dominant share of the costs. A key issue is to exploit the raw material in that it generates the maximum possible benefit through a judicious balance between the main products and by-products, by minimizing the cost of quality deficiencies and by limiting the amount of non-salable products.
Research and development of improved products to the customer
R & D should be a support to the business for profitable production of products where the properties are controlled by the customer, purpose or final customers. In this support is not only the production technological processes, but also the logistics of materials, goods and information, and business process.
