The Berzelii Center EXSELENT on Porous Materials
The Berzelii Center EXSELENT on Porous Materials aims at combining high level research on micro- and mesoporous materials with developing specific applications.A unique competence within inorganic and organic synthesis is brought together, and preparation methods for new porous materials with controlled pore size and functionality are developed. Applications, in e.g. catalysis, ion exchange, and controlled adsorption and desorption, are targeted with a focus on heterogenous catalysis. The centre acts as a platform for innovative research and commercialization with a close collaboration with industrial partners.
