Fire resistance coatings
We have complete resources for fire testing of intumescent paint. In our lab equipment we can test and evaluate intumescent paint with reference to fire resistance and reaction to fire. The standards we use are for example:
- ENV 13381-4:2002 (fire resistance)
- NT FIRE 021 (fire resistance)
- EN 13501-1 (reaction to fire)
At the moment, a new specific standard for intumescent paint (fire resistance) is being developed by CEN (The European Standards Orgnizations).
