VIFOM - Virtual Institute for Fibre Optic Measurements

VIFOM, Virtual Institute for Fibre Optic Metrology, provides services to the benefit for fibre optic industries in the Nordic –Baltic region. Fibre optic measurements are needed for the specification of optical fibres as well as optical fibre components and instrument. VIFOM is open for the Nordic/Baltic industries for services in the areas of calibration, evaluation/testing, education, research and consultation. A close collaboration with universities and industries broadens the competence base in the Fibre Optic community and multiplies the services offered.
