2009-2013 Breakthrough in European Ship and Shipbuilding Technologies

The goal is to increase the competitiveness of European built ships through decreased life cycle cost, drastically reduced environmental impact and improved safety. Focus is put on cruise vessels, passenger ships, ferries and mega yachts. However, the results can also be applied to other types of ships.

SP participates in System Group II – Improving payload to Gross Tonnage ratio.

In SG II SP are organized under WP06-II.2 – Innovative lightweight Materials and their application. In this WP SP are responsible for “Fire and risk analysis” and SP participates in the task ”Solution development and mechanical performance”.
