CO-NANOMET
CO-NANOMET (Coordination of Nanometrology in Europe) is an EU project where SP is responsible for a European nanometrological action group (ENAG) in biotechnology as well as the development of nanometrological support to industry.
Nano-technological production is expected to experience strong growth in the near future. But to achieve such a growth requires a substantial investment in a technological and commercial infrastructure.
The goal of CO-NanoMet
The goal of CO-nanomet is to provide the measurement support required for the successful development and economic exploitation of nanotechnology in Europe.
SP's responsibility
SP has responsibility in CO-NanoMet for establishing of a European metrological action group in nano-biotechnology as well as the development of metrological support for the industry to embrace nanotechnology.
