Atmospheric corosivity
By exposing copper and/or silver coupons, the atmospheric corrosivity of a specific environment can be assessed.
The corrosion rate of copper is determined after a time period of 30 days and also, if found relevant, the composition of corrosion products. From the result, requirement on environmental resistance for e.g. electronic equipment may be formulated.
We can provide reference metal coupons for classification according to ISO 9226, ISO 9227, ISO 10062, and IEC 68-2-60.
