Well-drillers
"Groundwater of good quality" is one of Sweden's specifically expressed environmental targets. A wrongly performed well drilling or installation can damage properties and, in the worst cases, cause severe environmental problems. SGU, Geological Survey of Sweden, has produced qualifications requirements and training material for the country's well-drillers.
Class AB well-drillers and Class A well-drillers
Individuals and companies can be certified on two levels: Class AB (the higher) or Class A. Certificates, which are issued by SP SITAC, are valid for five years.
