Building acoustics

SP has laboratories which are well equipped and easy to work in, and we use them for determination of sound insulation, sound absorption, sound pressure level, sound power level and insertion loss. We also measure the corresponding qualities in the field.

We are accredited for Swedish and international standards within our fields of competence. Windows, doors, walls, suspended ceilings, floor coverings, office screens, ventilation equipment and traffic noise barriers are examples of typical test objects.

We also calculate the sound insulation of different products, plan and carry out research and investigation assignments.
