Sound and vibration
We calibrate measuring equipment for sound and vibration. In many cases, the equipment is specified against an instrument standard, which we then verify against.
Sound
We calibrate most types of instruments to do with acoustic measurements. Normal calibration intervals are two years for measuring instruments, and one year for calibrators. Software-based acquisition systems can be calibrated as complete systems, or with the hardware and software parts treated individually.
Vibration
Our calibration laboratory has a unique range, capable of calibrating vibration measuring equipment from frequencies less than 1 Hz and at levels up to 50 000 m/s2. We also calibrate dynamic force transducers, impedance heads and modal hammers.
