Temperature
We calibrate your temperature-measuring instruments so that you can trust the results. Regardless of whether you use thermocouples, Pt100 sensors, pyrometers or some other type of sensor or equipment, we can provide appropriate calibration for it.
Temperature instruments are calibrated against the international temperature scale, ITS-90. We have unique calibration resources for individual sensors and complete temperature measuring systems over the range -200 °C to +2600 °C.
Reference thermometers
We can calibrate accurate reference thermometers directly at the ITS-90 fixed points, with uncertainties of measurement of less than one thousandth of a Kelvin. With the calibration certificate that you receive from us, you will also receive the necessary tables and diagrams to ensure that you are measuring correctly.
Comparison calibrations
For more industrial-type temperature measuring instruments, we can perform comparison calibrations in baths or furnaces to an extent, and with an uncertainty of measurement, as appropriate to the application.
Pyrometers and thermal imaging cameras
Pyrometers and thermal imaging cameras measure the IR radiation from an object, to produce a display of the temperature. We have a substantial set of black body radiators for various temperature ranges, enabling us to calibrate your instruments in the most suitable manner.
