Calibration of dynamic force transducer

Impedanshuvud används bl a för kalibrering av artificiella mastoiderForce and acceleration are two closely related quantities. We have the fundamental equation F = m a, where F, m and a represent force, mass and acceleration respectively. Hence dynamic calibration of force transducers can be made through the quantity acceleration. A special transducer for measurement of mechanical impedance is the impedance head. It is an accelerometer and a force transducer mounted together as one unit.
