Why test according to this standard?
This standard only refers to other test standards. The standard is used to assess, depending on end-use environment, which fire test the mattress, divan or bed base should to be tested according to.
The filling used in domestic mattresses, divans and bed bases (low hazard) are also subjected to Government Regulation “Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988” with amendments.
