The test according to SS-EN 489:2009 includes for example soil stress test carried out in a sand box followed by water impermeability test. In addition to the standard conditions, the service pipe temperature, the simulated overfill and the number of cycles can be varied on the customer's demand. It is also possible to do the sand box test with higher moisture content in the test sand.
