Quality Managers under the Planning and Building Act
Under the Planning and Building Act, every construction project for which planning permission is required must have a quality manager. He/she must be able to authenticate his/her competence in the form of a national authorisation certificate as specified in the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's regulations (BFS 1996:55 KA2). With this certificate to hand, the local planning authority does not need any further authentication.
SP SITAC is accredited for certification of construction project quality managers. Certificates are valid for five years. Over 3000 have so far been issued.
