SP performs outdoor exposure of different materials such as paint and varnishes, plastics, metals etc.SP has several field stations for exposure of materials and products.
Climatic data measured and recorded continuously are
- light intensity
- air temperature
- air humidity
- air pressure
- amount of precipitation
- wind speed and direction
Corrosivity according to ISO 9223 is determined by exposure of metal coupons according to ISO 9226 (carbon steel, copper, zinc and aluminum).
