Protective clothing and gloves
SP is a Notified Body (Notified Body) for certification of personal protective equipment in accordance with Directive 89/686/EEC. The certification gives manufacturers the opportunity to affix the CE marking product, which is a necessity in order to place the product on the European market.SP offers certification and to some extent also testing for CE marking of personal protective equipment, PPE. We certify protective clothing and gloves for:
- Firefighters, EN 469
- Welders, EN 11611
- Heat and flame, EN 11612, EN 14116
- Gloves and clothing that protect against chemicals, EN 943-1, EN 943-2, BS EN ISO 13982-1, A 13034-1, EN 14605 and EN 374-1
We are an accredited testing laboratory for testing various properties in accordance with product standards for clothing and gloves to protect against chemicals.
