SP is recognised as one of Europe’s leading organisation for testing of fire performance of sprinkler systems. The test facility at SP allows evaluation of different hazards, such as high rack storage or industrial processes to be simulated. In addition, we can offer intermediate scale. Commodity Classification tests to determine fire and suppressibility characteristics of different commodities.
Simultaneous use of sprinklers and fire gas ventilation has been debated for the last 15-20 years both in Sweden and internationally. A project conducted in 2001 provides some new insight into this field.
