Calibration of control weights
Checking your balance weights is most important in order to ensure that your weighing instruments are giving correct readings. We can help you by calibrating your weights and checking their tolerance classes.
Tables, as shown in the right-hand column, indicate the appropriate combinations of uncertainty of measurement and tolerance classes.
Tolerance checking
Tolerance checking indicates in what tolerance class your balance the mass of weights fulfill. If a weight is not within its intended tolerance class, adjustment will be needed.
Tolerance checking is carried out in connection with calibration of the weight, to determine whether the mass of the weight lies within an approved OIML tolerance level class.
