Verification of weights
Verification is performed to check that the weight has the required properties in respect of the weight's density, magnetism and surface smoothness.
We follow international recommendations from OIML when verifying balance weights. These recommendations specify requirements in respect of design, mass, density, surface smoothness and magnetism, with acceptance values of varying strictness that depend on the fineness of the weight.
