New President at Institute for Surface Chemistry
YKI – the Institute for Surface Chemistry – has appointed Peter Alberius as Acting President. Former President Bruce Lyne and Vice President Mats Andersson have been relieved from their duties by YKI's Board of Directors.YKI, which is part of the SP Group, specialises in applied surface and colloid chemistry and has an international lead in several areas.
“The board of YKI, management of SP and the Association for Surface Chemistry Research (FYF) all believe that Peter Alberius is the right person to manage the changes that are needed in order for YKI to succeed in taking the next steps in its development to become a world-leading research institute in surface chemistry,” says Maria Khorsand, CEO of the SP Group.
Peter Alberius was previously in charge of YKI’s materials and colour section.
