As part of SP metrological services, providing calibration and certification of measuring instruments, we offer on-site inspection and calibration of the size, shape and location of larger objects on the shop floor or process plant.
Using our mobile theodolite and laser-tracker systems we are, for instance, able to measure a large fixture in situ without having to dismount and move it to an ordinary CMM. Particularly accurate measurements can be performed in our laboratories where the environment is optimized regarding e.g. temperature and stability.
