Length and dimension

In our capacity as Sweden's national standards laboratory for length, we assist companies with just about everything imaginable in the field of length measurement. We perform calibrations and comparison measurements, arrange training courses and provide expert advice. 

Traceability back to the primary metre standard

One of our main duties as the holder of the Swedish national standard for length is to deliver a primary metre standard that is as close as possible to the definition of the metre. From this, we provide Swedish industry and other customers with measurements that are traceable back to the national primary metre standard.

Calibration

Calibration of customers' standards makes up most of our work in the length sector. We calibrate a large number of different types of fixed standards of length.
