Quality and Testing
SP Wood Technology has well-equipped laboratories for both routine-type testing and custom-made testing. The laboratories are accredited and situated in Borås and Skellefteå.
The Quality and testing team at SP Wood Technology focuses on the following questions:
- Testing and evaluation
- Know-how, advice and courses
- Production control and certification
- Quality and testing of furniture
- Standardisation
The P-mark is our own certification mark, and can be seen on a number of products. To get a product P-marked, it has to pass a type test. The manufacturers inhouse inspection is also rewied by our auditors. The requirements are set up in certification schemes, individual for each product type. The certification schemes are based on national or international standards, in order to fulfil national and legal requirements.

SP Wood Technology can CE-mark several wood products.
SP is also Notified Body for some building products.
