In this project we are developing tools which combine environmental system analysis with the simulation of production flow. The result is low resource consumption and more efficient production. • Dairies, through using ozone gas instead of hot water, can save large amounts of energy. This reduces the use of environmentally harmful chemicals.
• Using infrared heating allows bakeries to shorten process times and save energy. SP has been developing IR technology since the middle of the 1990’s and is at the forefront in the area.
