Conveyor belt weighing instruments, testing, verification and calibration of all types of conveyor belt weighing instruments, whether new or modifications of existing weighing instruments.
Testing in accordance with the Measuring Instruments Directive and OIML R50

We test in accordance with the Measuring Instruments Directive and OIML R50, and issue both European and international certificates for all types of automatic weighing instruments. 

Certificates and/or type approvals from SP for automatic weighing instruments are recognised throughout Europe and the rest of the world. 

Conveyor belt weighing instruments are used for weighing materials in motion 

Conveyor belt weighing instruments are used for weighing bulk materials flowing in a continuous stream, presenting the results in the form of the total quantity of material.  They provide information from continuous weighing of materials that are to be weighed and the quantities to be recorded. 

International standard OIML R 50 

OIML R 50 "Continuous totalizing automatic weighing instruments" specifies performance requirements for conveyor weighing instruments, i.e. weighing instruments that continuously measure the mass of a bulk material on a conveyor belt, without requiring the material to be batched or interrupted, and without interrupting the motion of the conveyor belt.
